For the eyes, I see a lot of domed stone rivets being used on my animal patterns, the kind you can get from Tandy. Also, several stores on Etsy carry ‘crystal rivets’ of 4 or 6 mm, with cut stones in them. Also, try Preciosa stones from https://www.mycrystalidea.com/preciosa-rivet-with-chaton-maxima-ss18-4-3mm-jet-silver-plated-6-pcs-pr4402015-6.html. I had to switch to that recently. The kind I used from Swarovski (5mm jet black) is going out of the market.
